Use the below button at the bottom of this page to login or sign up to upload your astronomy pictures to the gallery page of the website. Please read and understand the following terms.
Welcome to a new feature on the Worthing Astronomers website. We have updated the picture gallery page to now include member taken astronomy pictures. The platform is self hosted by Worthing Astronomers via the Lychee platform and by creating an account, members can upload their astro-photos directly to our picture gallery.
Terms & Conditions:
• Only members will be authorised to post their pictures to the gallery page. Anyone in the group can create an account to post their pictures, but Worthing Astronomers will need to approve the account as genuine.
• After signing up, please wait until you are granted posting rights. You will not be able to post pictures until these rights have been granted. You may contact us via the contact page or via Facebook Messenger.
• Once signed up an album will be made in the main gallery with your name as the title. You will be informed when this is ready to use. Upload your pictures to this album only, and no other album.
• Do NOT create your own albums. These will be removed. Only post to the album specifically created for you.
• Pictures must be no larger than 5mb in size and a maximum of 5 pictures can be uploaded at a time.
• ONLY post pictures taken and processed by yourself with your own equipment. Do NOT post pictures taken by someone else or from remote telescopes.
• All pictures on the Worthing Astronomers website and gallery are copyright of thier respective owners. Do not use any pictures without the respective owners explicit permission.
• Ai generated images are NOT allowed. Composite images are allowed but they must be referenced as a composite.
• You must own the rights to your picture in order to post in the gallery.
• You post your pictures at your own risk and Worthing Astronomers assume no responsibillity for your pictures or the use of the gallery.
• Do not flood the gallery with all of your past pictures. Please only post pictures taken going forward. New members can upload 5 of their historic pictures.
• Do not post different version of the same image, or multiples of the same target. If you reprocess a picture or make a new picture of the same target, please delete the original and then upload the new one.
• Any pictures posted that do not conform to the above terms will be instantly removed and the posters account will be deleted.
• By creating an account and posting a picture, you are assumed to have read and understood the terms on this page.
